This book is truly amazing. It is a must read for current college students, incoming freshman who may be nervous about succeeding in college, or parents who want to help guide their kids in the right direction. This book breaks down step-by-step what actions students need to take in order to have a successful college experience. For me personally, this book is brilliant. I am a current student-athlete at a Division I school and I know that being able to read through this book can help students tremendously. Many students become overwhelmed with school work and don’t know how to handle many different things at once. This book truly helps, and I recommend it for every student!

My son took several sessions with Jacob and he reached his target score. My daughter has just started working with Jacob. She is a total different learner than my son and Jacob has demonstrated his ability to adapt to tutoring different style learners.

Jacob worked one-on-one with my son beginning this spring at the tail end of his Junior year. Thanks to their hard work, he scored a 34 on the ACT just a few months ago! Jacob initially peaked my interest on Twitter, then I started watching him on YouTube. After digesting everything I could on his website, I reached out on a Sunday and he responded back right away. We ended up on the phone for over an hour. What I was most impressed with was how he took time to understand the situation, then assess my son's strengths and weaknesses to lay out a plan of attack for upcoming SAT and ACT.

Jacob has been great to work with. He is very knowledgeable and knows test strategies well. He is flexible when it comes to working with your schedule. I would highly recommend Jacob to anyone who is looking to improve SAT test scores.

Jacob has been awesome! He worked with my son on his ACT. He helped increase his score by 7 points. He is flexible when it comes to scheduling sessions for busy teenagers. It was so much more convenient to work with Jacob over skype vs. having to drive back and forth to a tutoring center. Jacob, The Test Guy has worked individually with our son for a little over a year. He has been nothing short of amazing! He took the time to get to know Ethan, his study habits and how he approaches test prep and test taking. Jacob has worked with him to improve overall study habits, reading skills, essay writing, timed test taking. His SAT score improved dramatically and his overall study habits have excelled.

I highly recommend Jacob! He was really good at recognizing and improving my weaknesses as well as helping me gain a much better knowledge of the ACT/SAT. Jacob was referred to our son from a friend to assist with the ACT. I admit I was a little hesitant having someone work with our son that wasn't on-one-on in the 'same room', but Jacob and his set up worked out great! Jacob worked out a schedule with our son and they focused on his areas of need. Ultimately, in a short period of time they had 15 sessions and he helped raise our son's score 3 points. (Which was huge for him!) In addition, I believe that Jacob forms a bond with the students he works with and builds their confidence enabling then to be better test takers.
